Mr. Chirag Mistry, a Mechanical Engineer, Director and Founder of Universal Metrology is a passionate person, avid learner and Committed Entrepreneur, having vast experience spanning 20+ years in the field of Quality and Metrology through his privileged association with various Multinational Companies including ABB India Limited, Alstom India Limited and GE Renewable Energy.
In addition to being our director and founder, Chirag himself is also a hands-on expert in the field of 3D measurement . He has been a Key Account Manager for 3D Measurement in MNCs, where he has handled end-to-end management of Stationary, as well as Portable 3D measurement solutions. He has also held lead positions in above organizations where has trained and groomed number of teams for Metrology Software and Inspection methodology.
With his Experience in variety of Businesses and Products including Hydro, Steam and Wind , Chirag has honed his expertise in providing consultations for decisions on most suitable and compatible measuring method for any product based on product characteristics.
Metrology word is derived from two Greek words such as metro which means measurement and logy which means science. Metrology is the science of precision measurement in the simplest of terms. It is the way that manufacturers ensure all component parts fit and work correctly. ... The engineering drawings and 3D CAD models use this GD&T to communicate the dimensions and tolerances to the manufacturing and quality workers.
